Gay, bi and lesbian Jewish dating
Being LGBT and Jewish shouldn't mean choosing between your community and finding someone. Nipagesh is for gay, bi and lesbian Jews as well as straight Jews, with privacy at its heart.
You only see people who are looking for you
You say who you are and who you're interested in. A gay man sees gay and bi men, a lesbian sees lesbian and bi women, a bi member sees both, and so on, so nobody is shown to people who aren't interested in them.
Your way of being Jewish
From Orthodox to secular: search by how someone is Jewish, Shabbat, kashrut and alcohol, and whether they're here for friends, dates, a relationship or marriage.
Private by design
- Photos can stay blurred until you choose who sees them, member by member.
- Discreet mode keeps you off the grid; only people you've already talked to can find you.
- Hide yourself from people you know, such as family or colleagues, by their email address.
- An optional calculator lock and notifications that only say "New message".
- You choose whether to say if you're out to your family. Nobody else ever sees your email.
Safer chat and meet-ups
Messages are checked automatically for blackmail, money requests and scams, and you're warned if one comes in. Set up a check-in before you meet someone so a friend hears if you don't check back in. Our guide to staying safe covers more.
Support if you need it
Groups such as KeshetUK, Keshet and Eshel in the USA, and IGY, Havruta and Bat Kol in Israel support LGBT Jews, and are listed on our support page. They aren't connected to Nipagesh.
Where
The United Kingdom, the United States and Israel. Joining and browsing are free; messaging needs a monthly subscription, bought in the Nipagesh iPhone app.
